Established in 2014, the company has been providing a blend of modern and traditional Ayurvedic treatment through its unique product formulation and selection of high-quality natural herbs. Vikas Chawla, Founder and Director, Vedas Cure always had a belief that if he developed good quality products or medicines and research-based scientific formulation, they will get a good response from people.
An Ayurvedic pharmacist from Punjab State Faculty of Ayurvedic and Unani System of Medicine, Mohali Punjab, Vikas is also a Certified Sound Healer, Certified Grand Master Reiki, Energy Healer, Aura and Chakra Healer, and Distance Healer.
Vikas says, “There was no structure, not a single company which could offer free medical consultation with expert BAMS doctors so that people can be advised upon which product or which medicine is best suited for them. The vision behind setting up the brand was that we wanted to provide finest quality Ayurvedic products along with free consultation for our customers. Service accompanied with free of cost consultation in the healthcare sector matters a lot. In some areas we have to be very sensitive, very particular, and precise before advising someone any medication as many disorders majorly get treated with alternative therapy of yoga and healthy diet (Aahar in Ayurveda).”
Many people post Covid are looking for alternative therapies for their lifestyle disorders. Vedas Cure as a brand aims to give customised treatment along with alternative therapies for lifestyle disorders like irregular periods, constipation, skin disorder or psoriasis, PCOD, weight loss etc.
Vikas did not face much difficulty interacting in the wellness sector because he already had some experience. He shares, “Initially there were a few difficulties like making customers aware about the unique possibilities which Vedas Cure as a brand has to offer. They were confused initially, but our CRM team was trained in a manner to address all customer queries diligently. Apart from this it took us only 6- 7 months of promotion on social media. Facebook was a leading platform at time we started. It was sufficient for us to capture a relevant target group.”
All the products of Vedas Cure are related to healthcare, lifestyle disorder and the brand does not offer generic medicines only proprietary Ayurvedic medicines. “We have our own formulas for all the lifestyle disorders. As a brand, Vedas Cure offers unique Ayurvedic medicine for treating more than 50 lifestyle disorders like Diabetes, weight loss, hair fall, PCOD, IBS, arthritis etc. All these are prepared with natural herbs and do not have side effects. It takes a few days to get results because Ayurveda works at the root level but positive changes do happen. We also recommend some yoga and diet charts/plans,” adds Vikas.
Vedas Cure does not export its products. He informs, “We are only in the domestic market and that too B2C (Business to Customer). We don’t follow a B2B model wherein manufacturing for third parties/others is needed. We manufacture only for our customers. We have one- to- one consultation with customers, it is easy to examine their report and ship the products.”
Speaking about his future plans, Vikas says, “Our mission is to reach as many people as possible, because we are using the most authentic form of Ayurvedic compositions for curing lifestyle disorders. We may compromise on the taste of the product, but we don’t believe in compromising on the characteristics of the composition. As herbs when taken in raw form, have the fastest healing effect. For the coming years, we also plan to launch offline stores in smaller cities with free medical consultation. As Vedas Cure believes in recommending medicines based on the ‘Prakriti’ of the person”.
